“During our discussions with KidsDoor about youth poverty issues, they proposed a business contest concept that had long interested us. In many regional areas of Japan, young people often leave for urban centers due to limited local industry, leading to population decline. We believe the ideal approach is for those who know their hometown best to develop businesses that leverage local resources and strengths. We believe contests like this are crucial in creating a society where children from all backgrounds have access to opportunities. This is why we decided to support this initiative. The ideal scenario is for young people who truly understand their local communities to create and grow businesses that utilize existing regional resources.”
